What does it cost?

Every quote is fixed, in rand, and agreed before work starts. Your first consultation is free, then R400 each. Once-off work is 50% to start and 50% when the 7-day build ends. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. Costs charged by others, like AWS usage, are billed at cost.

What happens in the free consultation?

We talk through your business and goals. You leave knowing the best first step, with no obligation.

Do I need to understand the technology?

No. We explain everything in plain language and handle the technical side.

Why do you build on AWS?

It is fast, secure and pay-for-what-you-use, which keeps costs low. We build in the Cape Town region wherever the service allows.

Can you build a chatbot or AI assistant for my business?

Yes. Chandler builds AI chatbots and agents on AWS. They answer common customer questions, take bookings or orders, and pass harder questions to you. They use only the information you approve, and we agree what they may and may not do in your written quote.

How long will it take?

Our standard build period is 7 days from when you pay the start payment and send us what we need. Larger projects get their own timeline in the written quote, and you only accept once you are happy with it.

Can I cancel once-off work?

Yes, any time in the first 7 days. We refund your start payment, but you forfeit your free first consultation, and your next consultation is R400. See the .

What do I need to give you?

For a website: your business name, text, photos and domain details. For data work: the spreadsheets you use now.

Who owns the work and the data?

You always own your own data and content. Once-off work is yours once paid in full. Work made under a monthly plan stays yours only while the plan is paid up. See the .

Is my information safe?

We follow POPIA, use your details only for your enquiry or project, and never sell them. See the .

Can I cancel a monthly plan?

Yes, any time, from your next billing date. Ask for a copy of your own data first, because ownership of plan work ends with the plan.

This policy explains how D.M Solutions ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use this website or ask about our services. We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

D.M Solutions is operated by Chandler Morta and Jesse M Daniels in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the information described here.

We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies on this website.

4. Why we use your information

When you tick the consent box on the contact form, you agree to us using your details to respond to your enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time, but this will not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

5. Who we share it with

Your enquiry is received by both of us, so that the right person can reply. We do not sell your personal information. We use these service providers to run the website and the contact form:

Some of these providers may process information outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, limiting access to the two of us, and protecting our accounts. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

9. Information we handle for clients

When we clean data or build dashboards for a client, we process that data on the client’s behalf and under their instructions. This normally happens in the client’s own AWS account in the Cape Town region. When we build a chatbot or AI agent, the messages it handles are processed on the client’s behalf, and are sent to an AI model provider only to produce a reply. We do not use client data for any other purpose.

10. Similar projects, products and features

The experience and know-how we gain from our work is ours to use. We may therefore create similar projects, products or features related to our work, for ourselves or for other clients, including tools, templates and methods that resemble what we build for you. We will not use your personal information or your confidential business data for this, and we will not show your project, name or brand without your permission.

11. Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you may object to how we use it. Make your request using the steps in section 2.

11. Third-party services

Our work often relies on services from other companies, such as AWS and Google. Their outages and terms are outside our control, although we will help you manage the effect. Chatbots and AI agents also use AI models from other companies. Their usage charges are billed at cost, as set out in section 3, and their terms apply to that use.

12. Limits of our responsibility

We work with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise particular business results. Reports and forecasts are estimates based on the data available. AI chatbots and agents can occasionally give wrong or incomplete answers. We set them up to use the information you approve and check them before handover, but we cannot guarantee that every answer is correct. You remain responsible for what they say on your behalf, including making it clear to your customers that they are talking to an AI. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

13. Using this website

Please use the website lawfully and do not try to disrupt it or misuse the contact form. We try to keep the content accurate, but it may change without notice.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you directly. If we cannot, the courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction.
